Do you accept new members?

We typically accept new members twice a year - once in January and once in July, depending on space availability.

We do have a cap on membership, but welcome potential members of any gender or ethnicity 18 years of age or over to apply!

Where do The Flamingeauxs perform?

We perform in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. We typically do not travel outside of a 75-mile radius of Baton Rouge.

What is practice like?

We have practice twice a week during parade season and some optional practices during the off-seasons.

All dancers must attend at least 50% of parade season practices to perform in parades. 

​

What are krewe dues?

Krewe dues cover the costs of parade registration, DJ, the support vehicle, and other krewe maintenance costs. The Flamingeauxs have 2 seasons, fall and spring. We collect dues once a year at the beginning of the fall season.

Is there a waitlist to join?

Yes, currently, there is a waitlist to join. Prospective members are required to walk at least 4 parades to be considered for admission into the krewe once a spot opens up.
